“For the first time since I took part in the 12 Hours of the Gulf, I leave Abu Dhabi without first place” comments Davide

The season of Davide Rigon ends with a new trophy who conquers second place in the Gulf 12 hours on the Yas Marina track in Abu Dhabi. After winning six of the eleven editions, this year the official Ferrari driver will have to “settle” for second position, together with his teammates Alessio Rovera and Nicklas Nielsen

“I am happy to be able to end this successful season with a new trophy thanks to second place. Right from qualifying we had the intuition that we didn’t have the right pace to aim for victory but crossing the finish line just over 14″ behind after 12 hours of intense racing is certainly a good result, also because we weren’t perfect in the pit-stops and in the strategy. I thank all the team, always fantastic, and my companions”
