When someone says “Le Mans” it means “24 Heures du Mans”, the endurance race par excellence. The Ferrari lined up for the Italian Team – that, in the last years, has written beautiful pages in the history of the French race thanks to victories and podium finishes – are ready for the new battle. 13,650 km of Circuit de la Sarthe, with a street part and a permanent part, it’s one day race.
The 24 Hours of Le Mans 2015 is the second time for Davide Rigon on FIA WEC Championship. He will be with James Calado and Olivier Beretta at the wheel of the AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia #71. The “24 Heures du Mans” is third round in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) where the AF Corse Ferrari 458’s have the top positions.
After the podium at Silverstone and a no lucky race at Spa-Francorchamps, Davide wants to catch up a good result.
“The 24 Hours of Le Mans is an amazing race, the most important for the season. I can’t wait to be on the track, it will be no easy. The teams are all here to win, but we are ready to battle. In this race is easy to do mistakes, so we have to show our experience. 1 lap here it’s long 4 minutes so it’s going to be a long qualification. During the last test we did some changes but we had a short time to finish to work thanks to the rain” said Davide.
