Very “comeback weekend” in Germany for the #71. Since friday during the free practice the car was going perfectly, just few mistakes on the qualifying session took Sam and me in the last position, but we did great overtaking until the 2nd position.
I’m very happy about my stint, I was pretty fast overtaking the LMGTE Am first and the Porsche Pro later, they were going very well. During the race Sam and I were the fastest on the track (in our category), at some point. So we did as much as we could to get the first position, but at the end to be second after starting at the last position, it’s not bad at all.
We are all pretty close on the classification right now, after the bad luck at Le Mans, our comeback here at Nurburgring is a good goal to catch up the Championship.
