Davide Rigon’s 2020 season starts with his trip to Australia and this weekend will sign the debut on Band’s demanding track for the 4 Hours, valid for the second round in the Asian Le Mans Series. The official GT driver will be behind the wheel of the HubAuto Corse Ferrari 488 GT3 after the pole position he won in the inaugural race in Shanghai in November.
“I like to question myself and I am happy to be able to participate in this race on a track that I will have to learn very quickly. It will be the most demanding obstacle of the weekend since we are talking about a track almost 8 km long with 34 curves to which will also be added the difficulty linked to the weather with temperatures above 40 ° C. After many years I arrive on a new track. We start from the pole position conquered in Shanghai and I will try to return to Italy with a nice cup, I hope the most important. The team is growing fast and we want to start 2020 in the best way possible ”comments Davide Rigon satisfied
