For Davide Rigon, official driver of the Scuderia Ferrari, it is time to restart the engines. After the long lockdown, the season starts again this weekend from the Enzo e Dino Ferrari racetrack in Imola di Davide, on the occasion of the first round of the GT WORLD CHALLENGE Europe Endurance Cup (formerly Blancpain Endurance Series).
“Finally we are back on track, at to run. It has been a very long wait, but now I am happy to be able to get back behind the wheel of the Ferrari 488. After losing the championship by just one point last year, we are determined to start in the best way. We will be able to count on an advanced version of the Ferrari 488 GT3. Being able to start from Imola, my home race, will be an extra boost, even though almost eight years have passed here since my last race. I can say I know the Bahrain circuit better, “comments Davide Rigon.
The engines will start on Friday 24 with free practice in preparation for the Pre-qualifying (13.10) and the 15-minute qualifying session starting from 17.30 on Saturday. At 1.30 pm on Sunday the traffic lights of the 3 Hours race will go out.
