The second round of the World Endurance Championship, held on the Emilian circuit of Imola, saw Davide cross the finish line in twelfth place. It was not an easy race conditioned by Flohr’s mistake to start by being delayed by two and a half laps.
Davide Rigon – Vista AF Corse #54: “It was honestly one of the best races of my life, in the driving sense. I had so much fun. We made good choices with the engineer to stay on track in difficult conditions with slick tires. I never put rain tires on and I was gaining so much time. The gap we took at the beginning of the race we reduced it, but we couldn’t do more. The car was still very good and we did our best. We are happy with the balance, how we worked with my teammates and as a team. We are positive for the next race and aim for a podium finish.”
