The most anticipated seasonal event of the FIA World Endurance Championship, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, got into full swing with the qualifying session.
On the 13.626 km of the Circuit de la Sarthe, with the asphalt temperature not deviating too much from the initial 29.4°C and the temperature of the atmosphere stable at 19°C, the 296 LMGT3 of Vista AF Corse number 54 driven by Davide recorded a time of 3:56.780 stopping in thirteenth place.
The appointment is now for the second free practice session, scheduled from 10 p.m. to midnight, followed by tomorrow Thursday 13 for Free Practice 3 which will start at 3 p.m. and will last 3 hours. The 30-minute Hyperpole (reserved for the eight fastest cars in qualifying), on the other hand, will start at 8 p.m., and a final one-hour free practice session will kick off at 10 p.m. The 24 Hours will start on Saturday, June 15, from 4 p.m. (times are local).
