Not even time to get in the car for the first stint, that the 24 Hours of Le Mans ended for the number 54 Ferrari 296. After nearly three hours of racing, the car driven at the time by Thomas Flohr ended up off the track, irreparably damaging the car. The Swiss driver was on the comeback lap, with Davide ready for action.

“Racing unfortunately is like that, sometimes it goes well sometimes less so. We were ready for this race and hoped to do well by trying to take advantage of all the variables such as the night stage and the rain. Thomas lost the car in the first sector, surely the now worn tires did not help, but the most important thing is that he is okay. As of now we are already thinking about the next stage, in Brazil. I congratulate both #50 guys for the win and #51. The 499P Hypercar has confirmed itself as an extraordinary car.
