Davide closes the 12 Hours of Sebring with fourth place in GTD Pro in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, after starting from pole position. Together with Albert Costa and Giacomo Altoè in the number 81 Ferrari 296 GT3 of DragonSpeed, after a race in which he was one of the protagonists, he gained points to finish in the top-five of the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup.

DAVIDE RIGON ‘We achieved the best possible result here at Sebring, despite a BoP that was not yet perfect to be able to aim for victory. It was a good fight from start to finish. We were very happy to have taken pole position. Unfortunately a problem at the first pit stop made us lose several positions, dropping to sixth. Also, with the double stint at the start it was not easy to keep up with our direct competitors who could count on fresh tyres. However, we managed to climb back up to third position. ‘

The next round is at Watkins Glen International from 19 to 22 June.
