As per tradition, it will be the 24 Hours of Daytona, now in its 62nd edition, to inaugurate Davide Rigon’s 2025 racing season, naturally in the guise of Official Ferrari driver and fresh from his multi-year renewal.
Scheduled for the weekend of January 27 and 27 at Daytona International Speedway, also valid for the first round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar 2025 Championship, Davide will be called upon to defend the extraordinary victory he won last year in the prestigious GTD Pro class. Davide will share the wheel of DragonSpeed’s #81 “Giallo Modena” Ferrari 296 GT3 with Miguel Molina and Thomas Neubauer and Albert Costa.
The American team directed by Elton Julian, being at its debut in GTD PRO, has entered into a technical partnership with the team of Giuseppe Risi, winner of the very last edition with Davide.

I’m returning to Florida one year after winning, and although it won’t be easy, the main goal will be to repeat last season’s success. I have a challenge ahead of me with a team, DragonSpeed, and new teammates, but thanks to the technical collaboration with Risi will find many engineers and technicians. We have all the credentials to do well in a competition with a very high technical level.”
