After the 2 podiums at Fuji and Shanghai and the 3th place at Spa-Francorchamps, Davide Rigon with James Calado is ready to race again with his Ferrari 458 GTE Pro #71 of AF Corse team. It’s the seventh and last race of the World Endurance Championship at Sakhir circuit, it’a valid for the 6 Hours of Bahrain.
Once again Davide can show his experience, after the great second place of last year, with 8Star Motorsport team and Ferrari, winning the Constructors World Championship. The length of the circuit is 5.412 metres, it was built in Manama suburb, this city it’s the capital of Bahrain, for Davide it’s a good place to thinking about.
In 2009 he was on the podium after the GP2 race. “I really like this track, I had many good results here in all the categories I raced for. We are arriving to this race after the 2nd place at Fuji and the 3th place at Shanghai. Me, James and the team are ready to do our best, we want the podium for Ferrari” said Davide Rigon. “We are pretty sure our 458 is the favorite on the tracks like Bahrain and Interlagos, it will be a hard race, the track is quite hot with high temperatures also inside the car”.
The target is almost arriving, winning the Contructors title for Ferrari. Davide and the AF Corse team are ready to catch up it.
Ferrari is still the leader of the group thanks the seventh place of Davide and James, behind them there are Porsche and Aston Martin.
