Born in Thiene, (Vicenza,Italy) on 26 August 1986, Davide Rigon made his debut in Formula BMW ADAC in 2003 and then went on to win the Italian Formula Renault, Italian Formula 3 and Formula Azzura championships. In 2007, Rigon triumphed in the Euroseries 3000, thanks to six wins, seven podiums, four pole positions and eight fastest race laps. In 2008, he also raced in the GT2 class of the FIA GT championship for the BMS Scuderia Italia team, winning the Spa-Francorchamps 24 Hours. That same season, he made his debut in the Superleague Formula Championship with the Racing Club white-green of Beijing Guoan. Come the end of the season, Davide took his second title in two years, thus inaugurating the roll of honour for the championship which brought together the world of football and motor racing. Thanks to these results, in 2009, he found his way into GP2 as part of the Milanese Team Trident, competing in the final three rounds of the GP2 Asia series and scoring his first podium finish at the final round in Sepang, Malaysia. Since 2011, Davide has been on the books at Scuderia Ferrari, carrying out work linked to development of the car, as well as marketing events. He also took part in some races at the wheel of the 458 GT. In 2013 he played a part in the victory of the 8 Stars Motorsport team in the LM GTE-AM category of the FIA World Endurance Championship. Since 2014 he is part of the AF Corse team in the GTE Pro category, racing in FIA WEC Championship. Also this year they won the Contructors’ Championship. In 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 he won with Ferrari the GULF 12 HOURS race in Abu Dhabi, racing on Yas Marina circuit.
