The Day of Daytona

Here we go! The day of Daytona is arrived, after the qualifying finished in P7, We were ready to do our best in the race, but it’s been tough. We went up to the 3th position, very happy about our pace. Unfortunately we had few issues during the night and we had to stop around 10 minutes at the box.

When we finally came back to roll again the car was pretty good, we were competing with a fast Ford’s car, but we had some issues again. Our pace was good anyway, I’m sure we deserved to be on the podium here in Daytona.

However we are happy of our result, we finished 5th, not bad for a 24 Hours race, very difficult and with only 4 Safety Car to get back on top.

It’s been great, sharing the car with Toni, Alessandro and James and trying to get all the pontetial of our 488, we gave the maximum in any condition. So, thanks to the team Risi Competizione for the hard work they put on this race.
