The fifth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship season in Sao Paulo ended with a 15th place for the #54 Ferrari 296 LMGT3 of Thomas Flohr, Francesco Castellacci and Davide Rigon. The race held on the 4.309-kilometer Brazilian track in Interlagos took place under dry track conditions and not too high temperatures.
Davide Rigon, Vista AF Corse #54: “A rather difficult race, certainly Thomas Flohr lost some confidence after his spin in qualifying. Unfortunately we were hit by two opponents, the second contact damaged our car and ruined the race. We still could have aimed for a fifth or sixth place at best, not more, because we still struggled a lot. We restarted to get to the finish line and let Thomas do many laps, hopefully we will have better luck at the next event.”
